Prepare your travel documents (valid passport, flight ticket or booking confirmation, and visa if required).
Remove and place items containing Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels (LAGs) in a separate tray.
Take off coats, jackets, hats, belts, laptops, mobile phones, watches, keys, and other metal objects for X-ray screening.
Place all your carry-on items onto the X-ray conveyor belt.
A physical inspection may be conducted by Airport Security Personnel.
Prohibited Items
Indonesia has strict regulations regarding aviation security, particularly for prohibited items carried onto an aircraft. You are strongly advised to consult airline staff before check-in if you are unsure about the contents of your hand luggage to avoid unnecessary delays.
Guidelines for Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels (LAGs)
Containers of Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels must not exceed 100 ml and must be placed in a transparent plastic bag.
The total quantity of Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels carried must not exceed 1000 ml (1 liter).
The transparent plastic bag must be sealed.
Each passenger is allowed only one sealed plastic bag, which must be presented separately at the security checkpoint.
During security screening, the transparent plastic bag containing LAGs must be separated from other belongings.
Exceptions are allowed for medications, baby food/formula, and dietary-specific food/beverages.
LAGs exceeding 100 ml may be permitted if purchased at duty-free shops inside the airport or onboard the aircraft and are sealed properly.
Guidelines for Power Banks
Each passenger is allowed to carry a power bank with a capacity not exceeding 100 Wh (or its equivalent in mAh).
Power banks with a capacity above 160 Wh are not permitted at security checkpoints.
Guidelines for Electronic Cigarettes (Vapes)
Each passenger is allowed to carry only one electronic cigarette (vape) on the flight.
Vapes must be placed in cabin baggage or in a pocket.
Vape batteries must not exceed 100 Wh.
Vape batteries must be turned off; if the vape does not have a power-off button, the cartridge must be removed.
Refillable vape liquid must not exceed 100 ml and must be stored in a transparent plastic bag.
The use of electronic cigarettes (vapes) is strictly prohibited during the flight.
