International Flight DEPARTURE GUIDE

Whether you’re departing or arriving, there’s always something great going on at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

DEPARTURE GUIDE
1. Pack all your belongings, including your hand luggage, according to security guidelines.
 
2. When you arrive at the airport, check the flight information screen for your airline's check-in counter and departure time.
 
3. To enter the departure terminal, all passengers must go through the Security Checkpoint. Things to note at this stage include:
 
  • Prepare your travel documents as follows:

·       Ticket in accordance with the departure date

·       Identity (ID Card, Passport)

 
  • All luggage must be checked through the x-ray machine.
 
  • To ensure the smooth inspection process, all metal objects such as mobile phones, keys, and so on must be put in the bag.
 
  • If necessary, passengers and luggage can be checked manually by Airport Security Officers.
 
  • Report to Airport Security Officer if you

·       Wearing pacemaker

·       Bringing firearms 

 
  • It is not permitted to bring sharp objects and dangerous items, such as knives, pocket knives, nail clippers, cutters, lighters, gas lighters, and so on.
4. Queue at the check-in counter that corresponds to your airline with travel documents (valid passport, flight ticket or booking confirmation, and visa (if required). The check-in counter opens 3 hours before departure time.
 
5. Check your boarding pass and travel documents before leaving the check-in counter
 
6. Scan your boarding pass on the tapping machine or hand over your boarding pass to the tapping officer.

8. Proceed to the immigration counter with your travel documents (valid passport, flight ticket or booking confirmation, and visa (if required)
 
9. ​​Enter the departure lounge as indicated on your boarding pass or flight information screen
