If you are in Ubud, it is well worth visiting the Monkey Forest, located on Monkey Forest Street, Ubud. The Ubud Monkey Forest is also known as Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, which serves as a protected sanctuary and natural habitat for long-tailed macaques.

Upon entering the Monkey Forest, visitors are welcomed by a lush forest environment, well-maintained cleanliness, and pathways that are very convenient, including easy access for visitors with disabilities. After exploring the area, visitors can take a short rest in front of Pura Dalem while watching the monkeys perform their natural antics, such as sitting on tourists’ shoulders while eating peanuts. In addition, visitors can admire ornaments and structures that strongly reflect traditional Balinese architecture.

Entrance Fee:

  • Adults: IDR 50,000 per person

  • Children: IDR 40,000 per person
