September 11, 2025 – PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, part of the Injourney Group, has taken swift action to support communities affected by recent flooding in Bali. This social initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and demonstrates the company’s commitment to caring for those impacted by the disaster.
A total of 250 relief packages were directly distributed to the affected areas, including Dalung Permai, Jalan Gajah Mada near Badung Market, and Padang Sambian. In addition to the local community, assistance was also extended to employees of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport who were impacted by the floods, highlighting the company’s concern for both external communities and internal well-being.
Purna Irawan, Acting General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, emphasized that the airport consistently strives to maintain close ties and engage with various aspects of community life, not only in terms of economic development but also through social activities.
“We feel called to help ease the burden of the communities affected by the floods. We hope that the initial aid we are providing will be of real benefit,” said Purna. He further noted that this effort goes beyond temporary relief, underscoring a long-term commitment.
“We want to ensure that the airport’s presence continues to bring positive value to the surrounding communities. Our commitment to social responsibility will remain ongoing, so that the airport is not only seen as a transportation hub, but also as a partner in social life,” he added.
Meanwhile, Wahyudi, Regional CEO of Injourney Airports Regional Office II, expressed that this emergency relief effort was carried out collaboratively within the Injourney Group, including Injourney Airports, Aviation Services, Injourney Hospitality, and Injourney Tourism Development Corporation. “On behalf of the Injourney Group, we extend our deepest sympathy and concern to the people of Bali affected by the flooding,” said Wahyudi.
“Through this emergency aid, we hope to help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters who are going through a difficult time. This initiative reflects Injourney Group’s quick response and steadfast commitment to stand alongside communities during times of crisis,” he added.
The company also conveyed its hopes and prayers that the recovery process will proceed smoothly and that affected communities will soon be able to rebuild their lives. The spirit of solidarity and togetherness is expected to serve as a source of strength for everyone.
