Banyuwangi - Ijen Summer Jazz held for the second time in 2016 on Saturday (10/9). Still housed in Open Stage of Jiwa Jawa Resortin Ijen, Districts of Licin, Banyuwangi, this jazz musical performances featuring local jazz musicians Kua Etnika made by Djaduk Ferianto and Ermy Kulit.

With the concept of mountain jazz, Ijen Summer Jazz is a series of jazz music festival that began on July 30, September 10 and October 22, 2016 held in the open area with 4 mountain backdrop at once, namely: Merapi, Raung, Ranti and Suket.

PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) as the airport management company supporting the activities Mountain Jazz 2016, both held in Bromo and in Ijen.

Zulkifli as the Marketing Communications & Research Department Head PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) said that the festival is not only a mountain Jazz music event alone. "Why do we support the event Mountain Jazz 2016? Because this activity is not solely featuring jazz music performances, but also as a means of tourism promotion," he said.

Therefore, Angkasa Pura Airports that during the last 1 year working to promote local tourism participated actively support this annual event.

Selection of Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen as the location of Mountain Jazz 2016 certainly very reasonable considering both this attraction has a huge potential to be developed.

Cahyo, one of the spectators who came from Banyuwangi really enjoy and enthusiastic with this event, "I am a very enthusiastic jazz lover and hope Banyuwangi people can like jazz music and the presence of this event could be the promotion of local tourism".
